About Our Hospital: With over 420 beds, we are the premier facility dedicated to the health of women and children in Texas. Our hospital was founded in 1976 by 29 physicians who recognized the need for a facility focused solely on women in all stages of life. We deliver over 800 babies a month, making us the largest birthing hospital in Texas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
