TEP GROUP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utility Foreman to oversee the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems in the Piedmont and Western NC/SC area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in municipal water and sanitary sewer construction, as well as experience in equipment operation and crew management.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure job sites are provided with fully operating utilities for water and sewer.
- Continuously monitor and optimize cost efficiency, produce comprehensive project documentation, and conduct inspections of construction and/or modification of infrastructure for water and sewer facilities in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, effectively leading a crew to achieve and maintain company goals and expectations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
- Maintain quality control and ensure adherence to project plans, collaborating with engineers and inspectors to resolve any issues or conflicts.
- 5 years of experience in equipment operation on excavators, loaders, skidsteers, etc.
- Capable of understanding, reading, shooting, and converting grade measurements.
- Capable of installing complete water, sewer, and storm drain systems from start to finish.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $25-$35 per hour. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed. The work location is in-person.
