Job Title: Strategic Sales Manager

Job Summary:

The Strategic Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining long-term relationships with industrial manufacturers and electric utility companies. This role requires a deep understanding of customer business objectives and market trends, enabling the design and implementation of tailored sales strategies to drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales prospects to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain regular travel to customer sites to enhance partnerships and identify new opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Lead negotiations on contract renewals and bids to ensure favorable terms and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling product presentations and propose tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive landscape to adapt strategies and inform product offerings and pricing.
  • Actively participate in industry conferences and trade shows to promote the company's products and expand the network.
  • Ensure accurate client records are maintained, tracking key milestones such as contract renewals, negotiations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to share market intelligence, customer feedback, and business insights, helping shape future product offerings and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial, chemical, or utility sectors.
  • Experience with B2B sales in the distribution and supply of gases and chemicals is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement client-focused solutions that differentiate the company from competitors.
  • Ability to analyze market dynamics and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Domestic travel up to 40% of the time is required.
