Job Title: Medical Billing Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team at Aletheia Health Partners. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately billing claims, maintaining a high accuracy rate, and reviewing correspondence and rejection data from insurance carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Billing claims within three business days of final bill or rebill date
- Maintaining a high accuracy rate of billed claims
- Reviewing, rebilling, or following up on all rejected claims within five business days of rejection date
- Reviewing correspondence and rejection data from insurance carriers
- Providing meaningful follow-ups with payers when claims reach 30, 60, 90, etc. days from bill date
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous experience in medical billing preferred
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
