Job Title: Special Education Teacher - Watkinsville, GA

Location: Watkinsville, GA
Compensation:Up to $45.00 an hour. Additional bonuses are available for candidates with more experience and higher credentials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
  • Valid Georgia teaching license with Special Education endorsement
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to supporting students academic, emotional, and social success

What Youll Do:

  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet each students specific needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to create and monitor IEPs
  • Support students in achieving academic goals and improving social-emotional development
  • Provide a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student success
  • Monitor and document progress on IEP goals, behavioral plans, and academic achievements
  • Advocate for students and ensure they have the resources they need to succeed
