About the Role

Market of Choice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Loss Prevention Specialist to join our Security & Loss Prevention Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for protecting our stores and assets from loss and ensuring a safe and secure environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to prevent and detect loss
  • Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and protect company assets
  • Collaborate with store managers and employees to identify and address potential security risks
  • Provide training and guidance to store staff on loss prevention best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in loss prevention and security
Requirements
  • Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in loss prevention or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
Preferred Qualifications
  • DPSST certification
  • Experience with CCTV operations and digital cameras
  • Knowledge of local and state laws related to loss prevention
