Job Summary

Chevron Stations Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative/Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to all customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process cash transactions, manage cash drawer, and perform cashier reconciliation at the end of each shift.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including indoor and outdoor facilities, restrooms, and car wash area.
  • Food Service: Prepare and serve food and hot beverage products, effectively managing ExtraMile and KKC food service to maximize sales and minimize loss.
  • Marketing and Sales: Promote store specials and other marketing programs to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and restock products, including retail space and cooler locations, to ensure shelves are full and products are available for customers.
  • Fuel Sales: Observe local law requirements for fuel sales, including activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks with gasoline or diesel fuel to specified levels.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Availability: Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age or older to work in California, Oregon, or Washington locations.
  • Shift Differential: Eligible for a $1.25 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 10 pm to 6 am.
