Caregiver Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to join our team at Gentiva Personal Care. As a PCA, you will provide essential care and support to elderly and/or disabled individuals in their homes or places of residence. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with client needs, performing day-to-day activities of care giving based on approved tasks, and providing care based on company policies and tasks outlined in the patient's individualized care plan. This may involve personal care assistance, meal preparation, grocery and personal shopping, running errands, and light housekeeping tasks.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you must be at least 18 years of age, possess the physical ability to perform personal care tasks, and have the ability to read, write, understand, carry out directions, keep simple medical records, and function with minimal supervision. Additionally, you must have reliable transportation, not have a criminal conviction that bars employment, and meet any state requirements related to work experience and training.
