Job Summary

Contact Government Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Document Management Technician to provide legal support for a large government project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing documents, scheduling appointments, and maintaining legal and general office files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain legal and general office files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences, and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth execution.
  • Receive and review incoming correspondence, forwarding items to the appropriate staff as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to telephone calls and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of litigation case files and other records, using established procedures and policies.
  • Locate and retrieve materials identified for shipment, record shipment data, and assemble physical files for long-term storage.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in office automation software, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database management.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • US citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous government experience, preferably in a document management or administrative role.
