Wound Care Opportunity

Pinnacle Wound Management is seeking a skilled wound specialist to join our network of highly trained professionals. As a wound specialist, you will work closely with nursing staff and facility administration to develop comprehensive plans of care for patients in nursing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned nursing facilities weekly to assess patients and make recommendations on plan of care
  • Work closely with nursing staff and facility administration to ensure timely and effective care
  • Utilize facility formulary and follow facility protocols to ensure high-quality care
  • Document patient encounters in our electronic health record (EHR) system
  • Discuss treatments and goals with primary care physicians and family members
  • Perform procedures such as debridements, incision and drainage, cellular tissue application, cauterization, and negative pressure wound therapy

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • DEA certification
  • Pass state and federal background checks
  • Basic EHR knowledge
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • 1 year of wound care experience
  • Wound care certification (preferred)
