Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team. As a Medical Screener, you will be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording donor vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their suitability for plasma donation
  • Take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results
  • Maintain accurate records of donor information and test results
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and respond to their inquiries
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient donation process
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned: Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1), Certified Phlebotomy Technician 2 (CPT2), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $19.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.

U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
