We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plasma Center Technician at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors while collecting high-quality plasma for life-saving medicines.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen donors for eligibility, take and record vital signs, and prepare donor charts.
- Operate state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safety of our donors and the quality of the plasma collected.
- Work collaboratively with our team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
- Maintain accurate records and coordinate donor compensation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned (CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT).
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
