About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Screener to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Screener, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen new and repeat donors to ensure their eligibility to donate plasma
  • Take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate donor compensation and ensure a positive donor experience
  • Work closely with our management team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current license or certification in the state where duties will be assigned (CPT1, CPT2, CLS, or MLT)
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace
