Job Description

As a Clinical Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting a culture of compassion and respect. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution (BSN preferred)
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or a compact state
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 30 days of hire
