Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rebar Fabricator Lead to join our team at Nucor Corporation. As a key member of our fabrication shop, you will be responsible for overseeing production, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop staff to meet production quality and quantity standards.
  • Oversee daily work assignments and schedules to optimize resource utilization and equipment efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions to minimize delays and ensure safe equipment operation.
  • Perform quality inspections of completed work to ensure accurate and correctly tagged material is shipped to customers.
  • Assist in evaluating employee performance and recommending compensation adjustments.
  • Perform various jobs, including operation of equipment, to ensure efficient shift work and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; OSHA 10 certificate or ability to acquire within 90 days.
  • At least five years' experience in a rebar shop or manufacturing setting; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency in computer use.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel records and sensitive business information.
