Quality Manager

At Chromalox, we are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our quality control program is aligned with established standards and that our products meet the required specifications.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of quality management experience, preferably in the electrical/electronic industry. A B.S. degree in an appropriate science or engineering field is also preferred. The candidate should have a proven track record of applying Six Sigma methodology as a Black Belt or Master Black Belt and experience with Lean, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Cellular Manufacturing, SMED, TPM, and Kaizen events.
The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the location Lean Six Sigma Program, mentoring/coaching resident Black Belt and Green Belt employees, and assisting personnel with training on DMAIC fundamentals. The candidate will also lead the Continuous Improvement efforts related to the Quality Management System, Quality Metrics, and Product Reliability. Additionally, the Quality Manager will plan, promote, and organize training activities related to quality and lean initiatives and lead continuous improvement events in 5S, VSM, SMED, Process Variation Reduction, and TPM.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work well with diverse employees, vendors, and customers. ASQ certification is preferred, and proficiency with Minitab software is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the location Lean Six Sigma Program
- Mentor/coach resident Black Belt and Green Belt employees
- Assist personnel with training on DMAIC fundamentals
