Role Summary:

We are seeking dedicated Marine Spray Painters to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves applying various coatings, including epoxy and non-epoxy, through spray techniques to multiple areas of vessels, such as tanks, bilges, hulls, and interiors. Additionally, the position may involve working on projects at marine facilities, applying coatings to structural steel and other designated areas.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize airless pumps, plural component pumps, and high volume low pressure air pumps for coating applications.
  • Ensure proper setup, usage, cleaning, and disassembly of spray equipment.
  • Read and interpret product data sheets from paint manufacturers to ensure compliance with application standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as a marine or industrial spray painter.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
  • Respirator fit testing and training in respiratory safety according to OSHA standards are required.
  • Forklift and aerial man lift certifications are advantageous.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and adhere to safety signage on job sites.
  • All candidates must pass drug testing and E-Verification of employment eligibility.
  • A criminal background check may be conducted.
  • Possession of a current TWIC badge and relevant SSPC certifications is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.

Work Schedule:

While overtime is not guaranteed, certain projects may require extended hours beyond the standard workweek, including weekends or night shifts.
