Company Overview:

Position Summary:

Main Industries is seeking dedicated full-time industrial coatings painters specializing in brush and roll techniques. Please note that relocation assistance or per diem is not available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply specified coating systems using hand brushes and paint rollers.
  • Touch up coatings previously applied by spray painters.
  • Execute stripe coats using brush and roller methods.
  • Apply complete coating systems in small, confined, or difficult-to-reach areas.
  • Perform hand tool cleaning and power tool surface preparation with handheld pneumatic or electric tools.
  • Conduct various cleaning tasks, including solvent wiping, industrial vacuuming, and pressure washing.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six months' experience as a brush and roll painter.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and at heights.
  • Must be respirator fit tested and trained in respiratory safety according to OSHA standards.
  • Forklift and aerial man lift training/certification are advantageous (additional training will be provided upon hiring).
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Comprehension of and adherence to all safety signage and hazard notifications on job sites.
  • All candidates must undergo drug testing and E-Verification of their eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • A criminal background check may be required.
  • Possession of a current TWIC badge is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.

Work Schedule:

While overtime is not guaranteed, certain projects may require additional hours beyond the standard workweek, including weekends or night shifts. Attendance is expected on all assigned days and shifts.
