Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Scaffold Lead Builder with a competitive pay range of $25 - $29 per hour. In this role, you will take charge of the crew, responsible for the layout, erection, dismantling, and modification of scaffolding systems. This position requires hands-on involvement and is physically demanding, with year-round exposure to outdoor conditions. A solid background in pin-lock scaffolding, tube and clamp systems, and carpentry is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize five (5) years of experience in scaffold building or carpentry.
- Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding according to project specifications.
- Work at heights safely, adhering to company, customer, and OSHA regulations.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all scaffold operations.
- Transport scaffold components from storage to installation sites.
- Lead the crew in safe practices for scaffold erection, dismantling, and modifications.
- Perform scaffolding tasks in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans accurately.
- Demonstrate knowledge in constructing both ground-based and hanging scaffolds using pin-lock and tube and clamp methods.
- Create material pick lists for the Asset Management team.
- Measure, cut, and install plywood and wood framing as required.
- Possess knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
Work Schedule:
While overtime is not guaranteed, certain projects may require extended hours beyond the standard workweek, including weekends or night shifts. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
Employment Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Comprehend and adhere to all safety signage and warnings on job sites.
- All candidates must undergo drug testing and E-Verification for employment eligibility.
- A criminal background check is mandatory.
- Current NCCER qualifications and TWIC badge are advantageous.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
