Position Summary:

We are currently seeking full-time Scaffold Builders / Carpenters. Compensation ranges from $20 to $24 per hour.


Role Responsibilities:

As a Scaffold Builder/Carpenter, you will collaborate closely with the foreman and lead builder to erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding systems. This role requires hands-on involvement and is physically demanding, with exposure to outdoor conditions throughout the year. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of pin-lock scaffolding, tube and clamp systems, and carpentry skills.


Essential Experience:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in scaffold building or carpentry.
  • Ability to erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding in accordance with project specifications.
  • Experience working at heights while adhering to safety protocols set by the company, customers, and OSHA.
  • Consistent safety practices, including 100% tie-off during scaffold operations.
  • Capable of transporting scaffold components from storage to installation sites.
  • Assist the lead builder in safe scaffold erection, dismantling, and modifications.
  • Perform all scaffolding tasks in compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and plans.
  • Knowledge of constructing both ground-based and hanging scaffolds using pin-lock and tube and clamp methods.
  • Ability to create material pick lists for scaffold production management.
  • Experience in measuring, cutting, and installing plywood and wood framing.
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time, hourly


Employment Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience in physically demanding environments, including confined spaces and working at heights.
  • Forklift training/certification is advantageous (additional training will be provided upon hiring for those operating forklifts).
  • All candidates must undergo drug testing and E-Verification of their right to work in the US.
  • A criminal background check is mandatory.
  • NCCER Qualifications are a plus.
  • A current TWIC badge is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.

Work Schedule:

While overtime is not guaranteed, certain projects may require additional hours beyond the standard workweek, including weekends or night shifts. Employees are expected to be present for all assigned shifts.
