Job Description:

Cook County is seeking a skilled Human Resources Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources Department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing labor relations policies and procedures, as well as providing training and guidance to management on labor laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement labor relations policies and procedures
  • Provide training and guidance to management on labor laws and regulations
  • Assist in the resolution of grievances and disputes
  • Negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in labor relations or a related field
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
