Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for Preoperative and PACU Services to enhance our dedicated team.

Role Responsibilities:

The RN in Preoperative and PACU roles is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through the nursing process, adhering to the medical plan of care, and following organizational policies. This position ensures safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative environment for diverse patient populations. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and reports directly to the Manager of Peri-operative Services. Experience in the following specialties is highly valued: Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of prior experience in PreOp/PACU is essential.
  • Experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ALS, and PALS are mandatory.
  • A solid understanding of surgical procedures and the management of surgical patients is required.
