Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in PreOp and PACU to become a vital part of our healthcare team.
Role Responsibilities:
The RN in the Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care by utilizing the nursing process, adhering to the medical plan of care, and following organizational protocols. This role ensures safe, effective, and quality care that centers around the patient and their family throughout the perioperative experience for diverse patient demographics. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and reports directly to the Manager of Peri-operative Services. This position requires experience in various specialties, including Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications:
- Must possess an unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in PreOp/PACU is necessary.
- Prior experience in an ambulatory surgical center is highly preferred.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are mandatory.
- A strong understanding of surgical procedures and the management of surgical patients is essential.
