Responsibilities- Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement individualized perioperative patient plans of care, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver high-quality perioperative patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Promote a culture of safety and quality, adhering to established standards and guidelines to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
- One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience, with a strong foundation in perioperative nursing principles and practices.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), with the ability to obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as needed.
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is highly desirable.
Competitive hourly rate of $32.00-$42.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
