Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Banquet Server to join our team at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every event is a success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up banquet rooms according to specifications, including linens, serviceware, and glassware.
  • Attend roll call meetings to learn function particulars and guest expectations.
  • Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring consistency throughout the banquet.
  • Remove dishes and reset the banquet room according to specifications.
  • Abide by all state, federal, and corporate requirements related to serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Replenish beverages as needed and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
  • Ability to work well with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis.

  • Work Habits: Maintain a positive and professional attitude, adhere to hotel standards, and be adaptable to change.
  • Safety & Security: Adhere to hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, and reporting safety hazards.
