  • Prepare the banquet area as directed by the Supervisor, including arranging linens, serviceware, and glassware.
  • Participate in pre-event meetings to understand specific details and expectations related to each function.
  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor and address their requests promptly.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with the Supervisor's instructions, maintaining consistency throughout the event.
  • Efficiently clear dishes as guests finish their courses and at the conclusion of the meal.
  • Adhere to all regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Monitor beverage levels and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the event.
  • After the event, reset the banquet area as per the Supervisor's guidelines to prepare for future functions.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Basic understanding of food and beverage service standards and guest relations.
  • Knowledge of proper table settings and serviceware.
  • Capability to lift and transport items weighing up to 30 lbs. in a busy environment.
  • Experience operating beverage equipment, such as coffee makers.

Performance Expectations:

Providing outstanding customer service is paramount. Every interaction with guests should reflect professionalism and respect. It is crucial to maintain high standards in work habits, including punctuality, grooming, and adherence to hotel policies.

Safety and Security: The safety of guests and staff is a top priority. All associates must follow hotel security protocols and report any safety concerns immediately.
