Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to empowering young people to live out their faith with authenticity and purpose.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of several departments that provide mission services and facilitate effective functioning of the entire operations segment of Young Life.

They will be expected to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, and make strategic decisions to advance the mission of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Spiritual Growth: Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life, including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer, and understanding God's Word.
  • Leadership: Meet with volunteer leaders, recruit and train new leaders, model excellence in contact work, and assist in training leaders to develop a yearly ministry strategy.
  • Resource Management: Raise financial support, communicate ministry updates, network with key adults in the community, and plan and execute area fundraising events.
  • Direct Ministry: Actively engage in contact work, lead teams to plan and conduct Young Life clubs and Campaigners/discipleship ministries, and serve on a summer assignment at a Young Life camp each year.
  • Administrative Support: Adhere to policies and procedures, manage finances, maintain accurate information, provide clear communication, set strategic ministry plans, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in direct ministry.
  • Proven relational skills with kids and adults.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Compensation

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on location and experience.
