Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Design:
    • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
    • Integrate play-based and hands-on learning experiences to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
    • Evaluate student progress through regular assessments and feedback.
  • Classroom Management:
    • Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters creativity and curiosity.
    • Develop and enforce clear expectations for behavior and routines.
    • Cultivate positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaboration and Professional Growth:
    • Establish open lines of communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the educational experience.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills.
Requirements:
  • A valid Texas teaching certification in Early Childhood Education.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • A strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
