Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Energy Capital Credit Union. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to current and potential members, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and maintaining compliance with all required regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with opening accounts for new members and assist with closing accounts as needed. Cross-sell products and services to existing members, identify new sales opportunities, and attain referrals.
  • Assist members with service requests to identify problems and resolve them within their authority levels. Review accounts of current members and inform them of new opportunities and products to improve and enhance their credit union experience.
  • Receives and processes financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Assist branch staff with opening and closing procedures that require dual control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Satisfactory credit history
  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Good communication skills
  • Prompt, accurate, courteous, friendly, timely, and professional service to all members and ECCU employees
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team activity and performance goals with at least 90% of goal attained
  • Maintain and demonstrate a working knowledge of credit union deposit & loan standards, policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations
  • Maintain compliance/alignment with company culture, internal and external service standards
  • Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and work environment
  • Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness
  • Prior cash handling experience is a plus
