Communications Specialist

About this Role
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As a key member of our allied health team, you will evaluate and treat communication disorders, developing personalized plans to achieve specific goals. You will work collaboratively with your team of Speech Language Pathologists to ensure the best progress for patients.
Job Details
This is a 90-day contract position paying $2,129.20 per week. The role is based in Gallup, New Mexico, with a shift schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages, developing individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities. Provide therapy sessions to improve articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice quality, collaborating with healthcare professionals and caregivers to coordinate patient care and treatment goals. Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and provide education to patients and their families.
Required Qualifications
CCC-SLP certification, BLS certifications, two years of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, strong communication and adaptability skills.
