About the Role- We are looking for a dedicated professional to assess and diagnose communication issues, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapy to enhance articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, and expression.
- The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping patients overcome swallowing disorders and achieve improved communication skills.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges in patients.
- Create customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals, adapting them as necessary to ensure optimal progress.
- Implement evidence-based therapies to address articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, and expression difficulties.
- Address swallowing disorders by promoting safe swallowing practices and providing education on strategies and exercises for improved communication and swallowing.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and educators, to provide holistic care and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, plans, and progress notes.
- Assist patients in applying improved communication skills in daily life, school, or work settings.
- Stay current with the latest developments in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development activities.
- A valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist State license is required for this position.
