Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team at Community Support Services for the Deaf, Inc. As a Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to Deaf and/or Deaf-Blind Adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, cleaning, cooking, and medication administration.
- Provide overnight monitoring and additional cleaning duties as assigned.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless support and services.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track client progress and services provided.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and strong communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Relevant experience working with Deaf and/or Deaf-Blind individuals.
- Knowledge of disability support services and community resources.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 3pm-11pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional support to our clients.
