Sales Manager Job Summary

Core Group Resources, a leading recruitment company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to drive business growth and expansion in the marine offshore market, finance, IT, renewables, and non-profit sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and expand market share.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, logistics providers, and shippers.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Sales Strategy:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve targets and objectives.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain strong business relationships.
    • Gather feedback from clients to continuously improve service offerings and customer experience.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
    • Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
    • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Market Expansion:
    • Explore new markets and geographic regions to drive business growth and expansion.
    • Identify and target emerging industries to capitalize on new opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of sales experience in the container shipping industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of container operations, intermodal transportation, and port logistics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
