Job Summary:

The Client Associate will provide comprehensive operational support to a seasoned Senior Wealth Advisor Team with over $2B in assets under management. This role will enhance the client experience by assisting with the service, maintenance, and growth of the team's high net worth book of business. The Client Associate will provide a perspective on Neuberger Berman's Private Wealth Management business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in daily activities of the operational support team and facilitate all client service needs.
  • Act as a liaison between Wealth Advisors, Portfolio Managers, Operations, and clients.
  • Initiate new account opening process through Private Client Services Team. Assist clients with required documentation.
  • Perform account maintenance, including funds disbursements, name/address changes, charitable gifting, ACATS and DTC transfers, cost updates, billing/fees, client-directed trade orders, etc.
  • Regular and proactive contact with clients regarding new account documents, LOAs, account updates, checks and wires, account performance, trade activity, transfers, statement inquiries, research, fees, objective changes, portfolio market values, stock quotes, online access, etc.
  • Monitor account activity, including trades, cash flows, debits, margin, tech shorts, performance, transfers, allocations, fees, etc., by utilizing various in-house portfolio systems.
  • Provide customized reporting and analysis to clients or Wealth Advisor teams on a regular or ad-hoc basis.
  • Maintain account information and new business pipeline in Salesforce database.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client files.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses.
  • 3+ years of client service/support or related experience in the financial services industry.
  • Broad knowledge of Wealth Management, financial products, and services.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal and client servicing skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and keep teams apprised on open items.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong follow-up skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Team player and a desire to collaborate with others.
