Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and confirm room reservations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Register and assign rooms to guests, issuing room keys and providing assistance as needed
  • Calculate and post charges to patrons' accounts, balancing totals with control records
  • Accept payment, make change, and present departing guests with checkout statements
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, ensuring a positive experience for our guests
  • Ensure required information is received from guests and entered into their folio
  • Print backup reports from the property management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Update the housekeeping status of rooms, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our guests
  • Record and notify the appropriate person/organization of maintenance problems reported by guests
  • Ensure the front desk area and lobby remain clean and well-maintained
  • Process Night Audit procedures and close credit card machines nightly
  • Maintain the lost and found program, ensuring a secure and efficient process
Requirements
  • Experience in general clerical or cashier work, demonstrating ability to perform multiple tasks and provide quality customer service
  • Ability to resolve common arithmetic problems and make change when receiving payment from customers
  • Must be able to read, speak, and write English
