Human Resources Specialist

As a Human Resources Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will be responsible for providing personnel support and assistance to all divisions within the Guard. This includes organizing, maintaining, and reviewing personnel records, data entry and retrieval, processing recommendations, and arranging awards ceremonies. You will also be responsible for preparing, updating, and coordinating requests for evaluations, ID cards, and leaves of absence. Additionally, you will maintain filing systems and order office supplies.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with all human resource support matters
• Oversight of all strength management and strength distribution actions
• Responsible for the readiness, health, and welfare of all Soldiers
• Postal and personnel accountability support
• Maintain emergency notification data
Requirements
• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements
