Behavioral Health Court Coordinator and Therapist

Center for Human Development, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Court Coordinator and Therapist to join our team. This dynamic role requires a strong background in mental health, social work, or a related field, with a focus on providing exceptional care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, as well as assessments and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach to care.
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors, behavioral health teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate services and ensure seamless care transitions.
- Serve as a liaison between the court system, law enforcement, and community resources, facilitating communication and coordination to support clients.
- Conduct pre-commitment investigations, as needed, and provide expert testimony in court proceedings.
- Participate in crisis team rotations, providing backup support for night-time and day-time crisis workers, as well as holidays.
- Stay up-to-date with agency productivity requirements and comply with established standards.
- Assist in providing general oversight to the treatment court, including meeting attendance, grant reporting, and budget management.
- Ensure treatment court policies and procedures are updated annually and followed during program operations.
- Operate in conjunction with the treatment court team to assess and place participants in the appropriate level of care, utilizing validated clinical screening and assessment tools.
