Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vaccine Program Nurse to join our team at Becker Health. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in administering routine vaccinations to students in West Philadelphia elementary and high schools.

This is a part-time position requiring hours shifts per month through June 2025. You will work variable locations, serving as a back-up for your colleagues and working collaboratively with our HR, worker comp, IPC, and EHS teams to ensure best practice, optimal service, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer vaccinations to under-vaccinated stakeholders in Philadelphia schools as directed by the Philadelphia Department of Health.
  • Collaborate with HR, worker comp, IPC, and EHS to ensure best practice, optimal service, and safety.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electronic medical records (EMRs) and enter data correctly in the EMR system.
  • Participate in committee work and departmental process improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively.
  • Venipuncture skills, chain of custody drug testing, and respiratory fit-testing.
