The Becker Health team is seeking a skilled and compassionate Vaccine Program Nurse to join our team in a part-time role. This position will be responsible for administering routine vaccinations to students in West Philadelphia elementary and high schools as part of a school-located vaccination program.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the manager and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing services. This will include administering vaccinations, tracking data, and participating in committee work and departmental process improvement projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Administering vaccinations to under-vaccinated students in Philadelphia schools
  • Collaborating with HR, worker comp, IPC, and EHS to ensure best practice, optimal service, and safety
  • Entering data correctly into the electronic medical record system and tracking data through reports
  • Participating in committee work and departmental process improvement projects

The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, be comfortable with group speaking and presentations, and have basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Venipuncture skills, chain of custody drug testing, and respiratory fit-testing are also required.
