We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our dynamic team at NFP. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for fostering and deepening relationships with clients and carrier representatives, providing expert advice on various benefit plans, and taking a leading role as an advisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and wholesalers.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, acting as the subject matter expert on Health & Welfare Benefits and vendor/carrier products and services.
  • Maintain a project plan to ensure client deliverables are provided on time, delegating work to more junior team members as needed.
  • Use online carrier tools to develop quotations, prepare pre-renewal information, and update client proposal tables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, companies, and clients, keeping them informed of industry trends and regulatory issues.
  • Anticipate client needs and identify strategies to solve them, reviewing request for proposals and insurance plan analyses, negotiating with carriers, and recommending renewal actions.
  • Oversee implementations of new business, working with the director to develop and execute client strategy plans and defined deliverables.
  • Conduct and present annual client compliance audits, ensuring all client data is entered into the CRM system in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products, and services.
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs, with effective time management and decision-making skills.
  • Diligent follow-up skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with commanding presentation and public speaking abilities.
