Become a Key Member of Our Assembly Team

Position: Vehicle Assembly Specialist

Employment Type: Regular Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Compensation: $17 - $18.50 per hour (Starting pay may vary based on experience)

Working Hours:
  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm

Break Schedule:

  • 10:00am - 10:15am
  • 2:30pm - 2:45pm (Monday - Thursday)
  • Lunch Break: 12:00pm - 12:30pm
Position Responsibilities:

If you have a talent for using power tools and enjoy hands-on assembly work, we invite you to be part of our Assembly department, where your skills will contribute to the construction of emergency vehicles.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various power tools (both electric and pneumatic) to assemble emergency vehicles.
  • Execute carpentry tasks, including trim work and precise measurements.
  • Construct vehicle exteriors by installing components such as doors and lights.
  • Employ tools like compound miter saws, band saws, drill presses, and more.

Essential Tools to Bring:

  • Standard wrenches (3/8" to 4")
  • Standard screwdrivers (flat-head and Phillips-head #6-#8)
  • Standard socket sets (1/4" and 3/8" drive)
  • Channel locks
  • Side cutters
  • Tape measure
  • Needle nose pliers

Familiarity with the Following Tools is Preferred:

  • Compound miter saws
  • Band saws
  • Radial arm saws
  • Drill presses
  • Table grinders
  • Jig saws
  • Routers
  • Die grinders
  • D/A sanders
  • Cut-off tools
  • Hand drills and drivers
Experience Requirements

What We Seek:
  • Reliable individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience in carpentry or mechanical assembly is advantageous.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend written instructions.
  • High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
  • Previous experience in automotive manufacturing is a plus.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
Work Environment:
  • Typical automotive manufacturing shop environment (exposure to heat/cold/dust).
  • Manual labor involving reaching, standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Working in confined spaces within vehicle interiors.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to different physical positions throughout the workday.
