We are actively seeking a Corporate Collections Specialist who possesses strong skills in B2B collections, cash application processes, account reconciliations, and management of aging reports.

This role demands a candidate capable of effectively addressing deductions and shortages, processing claims, and executing soft collections.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Collections Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all facets of B2B collections, ensuring timely and accurate payments from clients.
  • Applying cash applications and managing aging reports to monitor outstanding invoices.
  • Conducting account reconciliations to maintain precise financial records and identify discrepancies.
  • Addressing deductions and shortages, investigating their causes, and implementing preventive measures.
  • Processing claims related to inventory discrepancies and other financial matters.
  • Engaging in soft collections, communicating with clients professionally to resolve payment issues.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Providing expert consultation on corporate collections strategies and best practices.

Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Corporate Collections Specialist role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate collections, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in B2B collections, cash applications, and aging report management.
  • Strong proficiency in account reconciliations and handling deductions and shortages.
  • Experience in claims processing and executing soft collections.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in financial software and relevant computer applications.
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
