Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Le Meridien in Dunwoody, GA. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and execute menu items and specials in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications.
  • Direct, train, and monitor the performance of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to state sanitation and health regulations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and promotions.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by handling complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a line cook, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and colleagues to ensure understanding and satisfaction.
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with certification of culinary training preferred.
  • Safe food handling certificate and ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
