Job Description:

Executive Director of Operations

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director of Operations to lead their foundry operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving process improvements, overseeing the Plant Manager, developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), managing conflicts, and interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process Improvement:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
Oversee Plant Manager:
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the Plant Manager to ensure smooth plant operations.
  • Set performance goals and monitor plant performance against targets.
  • Ensure that the plant adheres to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
SOP Creation:
  • Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across the foundry.
  • Collaborate with the plant team to update SOPs as needed based on changes in processes or regulations.
Conflict Management:
  • Address and resolve conflicts among staff and between departments effectively.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Implement conflict resolution strategies and maintain open lines of communication.
Customer Interaction:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key customers.
  • Ensure customer requirements and expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Address customer concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in foundry operations and management.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record of successful process improvement and operational management.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interact professionally with customers and other stakeholders.
