Job Summary:

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography exams and procedures for use by physicians and radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and perform all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols.
  • Ensure high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and other relevant data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computed tomography technology and best practices.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist (SNMT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.
  • Preferred qualifications include CT Registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of CT hire date, two years of experience as a registered radiology technologist, and prior computed tomography experience in a trauma/cardiac facility.
