Your Responsibilities

Install, program, configure, commission, and maintain Fire Alarm Systems, including but not limited to; Simplex, Fike, and Kidde, along with other related building system products at client locations.

How You Will Achieve This
Complete projects within designated timelines and installation hours.
Collaborate with the project manager to address any discrepancies and coordination issues that may hinder installation tasks.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Interpret complex blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.

Coordinate installation activities with all trades to enhance installation efficiency. Attend all necessary site meetings.
Train and instruct clients on the operational functions of the equipment/system.

Conduct simulations and address inquiries.
Exhibit exceptional customer service skills by consistently communicating with district staff and clients to ensure satisfaction.
Complete project documentation promptly.
Adhere to all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures. Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We Seek
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent


Three (3) years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems.

Experience in interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.

Proficient with hand tools, testing equipment, multi-meters, digital analyzers, and commissioning devices.

Able to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses as mandated by National, State, and local regulations.

Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.


Able to work in various challenging positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, as well as working in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.

Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet client needs.

Overtime or overnight stays may be necessary during peak project periods.

Demonstrated high level of customer service.

Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with team members.

Commitment to adhering to, implementing, and consistently following safety guidelines and procedures.

Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a quick learning ability.

Possession of a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.

Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications
NICET Level II certification.

Familiarity with local Fire Codes.
