Position Summary

Role Overview: Responsible for delivering and serving food at various functions under the guidance of the catering supervisor. Ensures the smooth execution of all events during the assigned shift. May operate a catering delivery vehicle. Prepares and serves at events; maintains cleanliness of the event area during and after functions; dismantles setups and ensures the area is left tidy; returns leftover food and equipment promptly to the catering facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered events to designated locations.
  • Monitor and record food temperatures.
  • Set up tables and decorations according to event standards.
  • Prepare buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous manner.
  • Thoroughly clean the venue after the event concludes.
  • Return food, beverages, serving equipment, and utensils to the catering facility.
  • Distribute and collect feedback forms from guests at catered events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering facility and equipment.
  • Ensure guests receive friendly and attentive service at all times.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu and available products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A valid driver's license may be necessary; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol service permit as required by state regulations.
