Spiritual Care Specialist

The Spiritual Care Specialist will be responsible for providing spiritual guidance and support to patients, families, and hospital personnel at Baptist Health Care. This role requires a high level of emotional and spiritual maturity, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities- Provide pastoral care services to patients, families, and hospital personnel, including visits, counseling, and education programs.
- Participate in creating plans of care for spiritual counseling and support, and document all interactions in clinical records.
- Design and implement materials and assessment forms for use in patient assessments and family support.
- Develop and lead education programs and memorial services on spiritual components of loss and ethics, as requested by the director.
- Facilitate worship services and devotions, and coordinate with community clergy as needed.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Counseling or Psychology, and four units of Clinical Pastoral Education. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
