Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Occupational Health Services team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and perform treatment therapies according to policy and procedure.
  • Assist in implementation and evaluation of care plans, including long and short-term goals, nursing actions, and teaching.
  • Document patient care according to standard procedure and analyze and interpret patient data.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.
  • Complete hospital admission and Emergency Room transfer processes.
  • Comply with UMMHC Infection Control Policies and established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Demonstrate use of Quality Improvement in daily operations and comply with all health and safety regulations and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited school of practical nursing program.
  • Knowledge of basic nursing procedures.
  • Ability to take direction from a patient or provider, adjust equipment, observe, and describe patient observations.

Work Environment: The primary location for this position is the Urogynecology division with a rotating schedule of 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts.
