About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to join our team at DLP Services, LLC.

Job Summary

The Safety Manager will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the health and safety processes for the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety program that meets industry regulations and standards.
  • Train supervisors, managers, and other leaders in the company on health and safety standards and protocols.
  • Present safety training sessions to the company and ensure compliance with OSHA and federal regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Verify that employees consistently follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Analyze health and safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend changes to regular activities to improve safety performance.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, creating reports and recommending actions to prevent similar incidents.
Requirements

To be successful as a Safety Manager, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred.
  • OSHA 10- or 30-hour card preferred or willingness to attend training to obtain.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as a team and interact with different groups of people.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in various settings, including warehouses and office buildings. Traveling is also required.

Salary and Benefits
